Pace

Monitor project health and surface issues before they become problems.

Pace watches your project and tells you the truth. It shows which work is moving, which is stale, who's overloaded, and what's about to miss its deadline.

How to Use Pace

Step 1: Open Dashboards

In Jira, click More in the left sidebar, then select Dashboards.

Step 2: Create a new dashboard

Click Create dashboard, give it a name, and save.

Step 3: Add the Pace gadget

Click Add gadget and search for "Pace". Click Add on "Pace Health Metrics".

Step 4: Configure your project

Select the project you want to monitor from the dropdown.

Step 5: View your project health

Pace displays a complete health overview with real-time metrics.

Understanding the Dashboard

Percentage of sprint work completed

In-progress issues with no activity 7+ days

Story points completed per sprint

Health Breakdown

  • Delivery: Are issues getting done?

  • Timeliness: Are deadlines being met?

  • Flow: Is work moving without blockers?
